Optimum Nutrition's Chitosan Diet Formual is produced from Chitosan that is 90-95% deacetylated to improve solubility, chelation and emulsin characteristics. This stimulant-free weight-loss aid provides 1000 mg of deacetylated Chitosan and 200mg Vitamin C in each serving.
Chitosan is derived from shellfish and should not be consumed by anyone with an allergy or sensitivity to any form of shellfish. Do not consume this product within 4 hours before or after taking any medications and/or fat-soluble nutrients. Not intended for use by pregnant or nursing females. Chitosan is not digestible and therefore has no caloric value.
